Okay, so I have taken up a new challenge this year that I promise to keep up more frequently. To take pictures daily and post them at the least weekly. I am also taking on off camera flash more seriously. I love lighting it doesnt matter if its natural or flash! This challenge is to better my photography skills and to feed my passion.

Working with natural light using my macro lens. Had set my Canon to program mode then manual mode. It was fun shooting these pictures. Had spent a good 45 minutes playing. (:

Light of the world
One evening, I was looking out my window and saw the beautiful sunset. I had to run and get my camera it had the 50 mm lens. So, there is no time to lose you shouldn't run and get another lens on because time was already wasted when I went to ge my camera out of my bag. Shooting a picture like this every minute counts it will not be the same picture. The clouds move the sun begins to set even lower then it is could no longer be the same picture. (; I thought it is still a beautiful picture. Captured a moment that can no longer be brought back, recorded for the future.

Love the lighting on this portrait!
When I saw the light in this area I knew what I wanted from my subject. I had her stand with the sun light at her back. This shot was taken about 10am. I love the light on her hair. I used 70-200mm lens with flash mounted on my camera.

Getting it!
I am begining to see the light, that beautiful light! (: I am begining to understand the exposure triangle of Apeture, ISO and Shutter Speed and what they can do to create a beautiful image. Composition is another thing but I am learning that too! Its all fun! Apeture is the size of the amount of light that will be let in, ISO is the sensitivity of the light to be let in. Shutter speed is how fast or slow to let light in. Got it? I think I do. (; I can now set the camera to manual mode, no longer automatic which was a long time ago. Thank you for the option. Apture and Shutter mode thank you too! You have helped alot in the learning process and when I can't think fast there you are to save the day! <3 My heart is there in manual mode! I love control over everything! And I feel so much better having the knowledge and understanding. It makes me smile just thinking of it! (:
Now, I have been playing with off camera flash! Love it! Can I have more money to buy more toys! I want more softboxes, bigger ones too! I want more flashes too! I was blessed to be able to attend the 2011 Flashbus Tour in San Jose! David Hobby and Joe McNally taught me a lot! Thanks guys! It was a cooooool! (:

Abstract
This picture was taken today. From a different view. I took this picture with my mobile camera. Not bad huh? I love the blue...
Lighting
I love this picture! I am learning! I took a lot of pictures this day. This is one of my favorites. I used my 24-70 mm lens in manual mode. It is not on auto mode! ;D
Flowers
Okay, I am a little slow. I have been taking pictures, I just haven't been posting them. These flowers are not too far me. I love taking pictures of flowers, they are so beautiful. I can't say they stay still because it was a little windy. They were dancing. I had to wait to capture the moment that they were still.
